Fathers Day

So I know I still have to post about this amazing barbecue we had and I'm in trouble for not doing it still but I will have to do that tomorrow. Today I had to post about Fathers Day! I am so lucky and grateful to have an amazing dad and an amazing father to my children. We tried to let Mike sleep in today but Ethan was too excited to see daddy. So we woke him up with some presents. He got some new golf balls and tees. Kind of the typical father's day gift huh. I am grateful to Mike for all he does for us as a family. He is always supportive and extremely helpful around the house. He works hard at school and still comes home and hangs out with us with no complaints. I knew when I married Mike that he would be a wonderful husband and a good dad. I never could have imagined how amazing of a dad he was going to be. Ethan absolutely adores him and tries to be like him in every way. Our family is so lucky to have him!

Toddler Bed

Well Mike and I decided to bite the bullet and get Ethan a toddler bed. We figured he should be used to one for when the baby starts sleeping through the night and has to be in his room with him. Plus it's starting to get harder and harder for me to get him out of his crib. I was super nervous that it would be a long few nights if not weeks. Well that wasn't so, he stays in his bed and doesn't get out. Even when he is so sad to be in bed he just cries and stays in there. I have to tell him in the mornings that it's ok for him to get out and he says okay and then finally gets out. He is so funny but I am grateful that this transition went so well!!! The next step is potty training. That will probably be many many months away!
