PUMPKINS!!!

YAY!! I love carving pumpkins, well I don't really like getting all the slimy gooey stuff out of it and my hands hurting for hours after I painstakingly cut all the little pieces, so I guess I just like the end product. This year Mike and I got our carving set early since last year they were all out by the time we got around to buying them. We bought the set that had all the designs you can cut out. Well after hours of digging and skin coming off of my finger we are finished and needless to say I am so proud of what we accomplished!! The pictures don't quite do it justice so if you live around here drive by our apartment and come see them when they are lit!

6 teeth with 1 more on the way

So pretty sure Ethan is a mutant or something, well not really maybe just a freak of nature. This kid is 7 months old and already has 6 teeth with one more on the way. From what I hear that is crazy. I am not to0 sure how much I enjoy all his new teeth only because his favorite thing is to bite and he sure does bite hard. I feel so bad because he is getting his two front teeth on the top and they look huge and like they hurt so bad. Poor guy but soon they will be out and he will have a mouth full of teeth.

Sugar Cookie Madness

Well since it's the holiday season and since we love cookies Mike and I decided to make sugar cookies and decorate them. Pretty sure we made like 30 of them and only decorated like 10 so we have 20 just sitting there waiting for their turn to be beautified.

Puzzle

So Mike and I decided since we can't go out at night and we really have nothing else to do at home but watch TV, to do a puzzle. We got a Thomas Kinkade puzzle which is just really a landscape puzzle and it turned out a lot harder then we thought because all the colors are kind of fuzzy and run together. We have had so much fun though. We spend hours on it not even knowing we do. We have worked on it for three days and here is our progress.

As you can see we have gotten a lot done since the first day. I'm pretty sure the first day is what took us the longest too. I think though it was finding all the border pieces and flipping them all over. We'll see how long it takes us to get the whole thing done!

Ha Ha. This is a picture of my brother taking a picture of me with his phone. We were on the lightrail in Minneapolis on our way to the bears game. This is a pretty random photo. I was hoping you could at least see someones face. Oh well. I tag Jacquie, Courtney, and Kristina
