So this Valentine's day was on a Sunday which makes it hard to do much of anything but Mike still found a way to pamper me. First we celebrated by going to our ward valentine party. Babysitting was provided which was a real treat. We had dinner and then played games for prizes. The first game we played is hard to explain but the reason I bring it up is because Mike and I won and we got a $10 gift certificate to Coldstone!!! That was a great present. Mike and I decided we weren't going to get each other presents or flowers, trying to save up on the money that we don't have:) But Mike and I exchanged cards and he gave me sweethearts. Then Mike cooked me dinner, so we put Ethan to bed so that we could have a romantic dinner all to ourselves. Then we watched chick flicks and made fondue. Overall it was a great day! Then the next day was presidents day and Mike had the day off so we got to play. We took Ethan to his first movie Planet 51 and he loved it. We were nervous that he wouldn't be able to sit still, but he sat through the whole movie. It was a good thing that the movie was loud because he liked to make comments throughout the whole movie. I wish I got pictures of the events but pictures lately have blanked my mind but I promise the next posts will have pictures because I need to take more anyways!
